Mark Risk practices employment law in New York City, including litigation of discrimination, restrictive covenant, contract, and wage/hour cases.

He frequently represents senior executives and professionals in contract and separation negotiations, and in restrictive covenant disputes. Mark is a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Labor and Employment Law at New York University Law School.  He currently serves in the leadership of the Labor and Employment Section of the American Bar Association.

For over 20 years Mark has taught advocacy skills to lawyers throughout the United States as a faculty member for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. This includes in-house programs at the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Department of Labor, Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Aviation Administration, Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, Social Security Administration, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and many private law firms.

Mark is recognized Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers and LawDragon 500 rankings. He is a graduate of Swarthmore College, the University of Chicago, and New York University Law School.
